This might be redundant but it came up showing that it had not been sent. Just wanted to make sure you got all the informationl. ---- Original Message ---- From: "Mary Anne Eskew" <eskew@ncats.net> Sent: 3/1/2014 12:56:34 PM To: wilson@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [WILSON] locating kin Dear Bill, Before hitting the sack last night, I located my Wilson file. It had exactly 1 item in it, the obit for Sarah Olive Wilson Davison. Some spellings are Davidson. It is not a good copy, but I think I made it at the Allen County Genealogical Library in Ft. Wayne IN. There must have been something in front of me because I copied off the pertinent information. Sarah Olive was born to William E. and Mary (James) Wilson in Rush County, IN on Oct. 23, 1844. From the Davison Family Bible, it shows she married John A. Davison on Dec. 25, 1865. She passed away on June 10, 1900, age 75 years, 7 months, 12 days. They had 3 sons and 6 daughters. John preceded her in death as did 2 sons and 2 daughters. The obit also states that she was left an orphan at the age of 3 at the death of her mother. Her father and brother both died in the Civil War. I have seen and photographed John's and Emma's monuments at the Stipps Hill Cemetery in Salt Creek Twp, Franklin County, IN. I saw no sign of Sarah and the obit does not mention where she was interred. Will Moster (now Moster and Sons) conducted the service so them might be able to add some information. They are located in Rushville, IN. Sarah and John are my great-grandparents as their daughter Fanny was my grandmother. I plan to go to Ft. Wayne later this month and will see what I can find out then. I can get carried away with this, but need to close and get some 'real' work done.
