I need help obtaining information regarding the above families and locations. They all connect to my William WILSON family from SC>GA>AL in various ways: Benjamin (W. E.) Wilson, born in SC ca 1829. In 1850 Walker County GA census, and in Lebannon, DeKalb Co AL in 1860, 1866, and1867. I have nothing more on Benjamin after this time. Father was William, born ca 1802 SC. William and some of the children are in DeKalb Co, too. These children, Susan/Susie C Wilson, Jerry M Wilson, Martha A Wilson, James Wilson, all remain unaccounted for at this point. This is some of what I’ve found for the rest of the family: Mary E Ferguson Flippo Terry married Uriah W Cosby/CROSBY in 1899 Scottsboro, Jackson Co AL. Uriah was previously married to Sarah E Wilson. Sarah and Uriah lived in Chattooga Co. GA, Jackson Co AL, St Clair Co, AL and Morgan Co AL (1860’s to around 1890’s.) No death date for her. William H Clemmons/Clements/Clemmens, etc. He married Manerva Jane Wilson Windrix (in 1869), widow of David Windrix. Manerva married William between 1870 and 1880. Manerva died before 1899 and was often called Mattie.......not to be confused with his 2nd wife, Mary Jane “Mattie” Brown. They married in 1899. Lived in Jackson Co AL; later moved to Oklahoma. Andrew Woodall married Mary M Wilson in GA or AL ca early 1850’s. They are on the 1860 DeKalb Co AL census with 2 sons, John A (1855) and Abraham, (1857). Andrew is later found on the 1870 KY census with the boys but Mary M is not there. Seems to be a new wife now. I find Mary M in Morgan Co AL in 1870 but without the boys. Can’t find a divorce record. Abby/Abigail L Wilson may have been married to a Mack Dodge. They are in Scottsboro AL in 1880. Mack Dodge may not have been her first husband. They lived about about 8 recorded homes away from Manerva Wilson Windrix Clemmons, according to the census. I don’t know if that would be considered living close to each other or not.
