Moore. dau of Albert Moore the grandparents of Mrs. Silas K. Simms" I am seeking information about the children and grandchildren of James & Laura. Mrs. Silas Kyle Sims is my great grandmother. Silas Kyle Sims m. Virginia Malcom in Monterey, Highland Co, VA on Jan 31, 1867. I have a copy of their marriage certificate. 1850 Census of Highland Co, VA lists Virginia Hillingsworth, age 8, in the home of John & Rebecca Malcomb. The only other occupant in the home was James M. Malcomb, age 1. John & Rebecca Mowrey married in Highland Co, VA on Jun 14, 1849. 1860 Census Highland Co, VA: MALCOMB, John 49; Rebecca 40; Virginia 18; James M. 9; Nancy J. 9; Rachael A 8; Mary M. 7; Phebe A. 5; Robert P. 3; John R. 2. All were b. in Highland Co, VA. I have not been able to identify any families by the name of Hillingsworth in Highland Co, VA. There are Killingsworth, but I don't have sufficient information to be able to identify who Virginia's parents were. Hence I am seeking any link between Virginia (Hillingsworth) Malcomb to any Hillingsworth (Killingsworth) family OR to James & Laura A. (Moore) Wilson. Silas & Virginia moved from Highland Co, VA to Coles Co, IL in 1887 with 9 of their 10 children. Only Ida May Sims remained as the new bride of Elias "Eli" Bodkin, the son of James M.
