Today i found information that probably eliminates James Wilson. The Solomon I was trying to place in Baltimore did not marry Hannah Bell like I thought as He married Elizabeth Holsted and Frances Hodges, unless he had a third marrage. Hannah the daughter was born 11 July 1757 and married John FosterLeaverton 16 July 1781. Hi Cole, May I ask: How did you find info on your Wilson family in 1757? I'm looking for three birth record in NY for the early 1800's and cannot find them. Can you offer any suggestions? Dee, I use many different things, USGENWEB, Rootsweb ,Genforum, Familysearch.org and new.Familyseach.org. I go to the address bar and or Google ,Bing and Ask,. I type in "Solomon Wilson" genealogy. A new site is MOCAVO. IF your family on the Island . Long Island genealogy is a spot. Give me your family names and I willsee what I can find.
