Folks I am sending this message to both sites (Wilson as a surname and Ray county Missiouri as the place of a marriage) at rootsweb hoping to find anyone doing research from the Wilson point of view trying to locate descendants of George Wilson who married Phebe Halleck on 5 September 1850 in Ray County, Missouri. My source for the marriage comes from Ray County marriages, and Nahum King family archives. I do not know where or when George Wilson was born. Phebe was born about 1828 in Ohio but after the marriage they seem to fall off the face of the earth. Phebe's mother moved on to Oregon by 1853 taking all but Phebe with her at that time. Thanks for any suggestions on finding my cousin of which I am the first cousin 3 times removed. Dan
