Hello, I apologize for repeating this post, but house research leads from Magdalene Wilson to John Wilson, and looking for any information on Miss Wilson leads me to NJ. Miss Wilson from the town of Mohawk, in Montgomery County, NY. Since she never married, my hope is that some one related to John Butler of Jersey City may be able to shed some light on her. Unfortunately John died before she did in 1929, it maybe possible that when she died her family papers may have been sent to John's wife or to a relative of hers in Jersey City. Miss Wilson was the daughter of Henry Wilson, and he purchased a house the family owned for over one hundred years. The house has quite a history being over 200 years old, and the Wilson s were the longest owners of it. In 1886 a local historian and painter did 2 pictures that are in the archives of the state.
