Dear All, As someone who has had tremendous success with DNA testing for genealogical purposes, I wanted to let my fellow Wilson researchers know that FamilyTreeDNA.com is having a 36 hour sale on some of their tests. The sale ends Tuesday at 11:59 p.m. (By the way, I'm not with FamilyTreeDNA. Just a crazy genealogist like everyone else!) I would like to encourage anyone who is or knows of a male cousin carrying the WILSON surname to take the Y-DNA test.(You only need one male Wilson from your line to participate.) Thanks: I have tried and found 3 Wilson's one in WV, one in OHIo and one in Missouri/Kansas from my line and they refuse to do the DNA test with me paying for it. I am beginning to wonder if they know more family history than I do, but won't reveal bad blood,  if they are afraid of CSI keeping their DNA, or afraid of the Federal Government having their DNA and pinning a robbery on them or me pinning a illigimate child for paternity rights or afraid they are illigimate in their line.   I have given the Familytree DNA website for them to read up on it. It is hard work to find a modern day person and sometimes harder to find one today than one in 1860.
