He came here (we think) through Ellis Island, between the years named in the subj. line. The problem is this: after searching all the Scottish John Wilsons who debarked at Ellis Island, none of the *possible* candidates specified their middle initial (The John B's that debarked there at all were eliminated for other reasons, such as arrival date, age at arrival, or specified nationality.) I'm left with 8 possibilities, and was hoping that some of you might be able to claim these, and thus eliminate them from my list.
