I am looking for information on John Wilson born abt. 1790 in Augusta County, VA. He married Susannah Craig, daughter of Robert and Susannah Woods Craig on September 30, 1816. John and Susannah had five children: Sophia, Mitchell Alexander, (Rev.) Samuel, Dorcas, and Sarah. They relocated to Yancey County, NC for they appear in the 1850 Yancey County census. Mine was born 1772 and married Elizabeth Travers Chinn, however I have no information on his parents and yours could possibly be a cousin or nephew. About the same area and time frame.
