LA I also have someone named Jason Wilson in the (1850) MS census, Coahoma Co., MS as follows - Ruth Kennedy 58 yrs. b. NC Thomas " 31 yrs. b. Ark. Farmer Jason Wilson 20 yrs. b. Tenn. Raftsman Travis G. williams 38 yrs.b. Virg. " James S. Neely 32 yrs b. Virg. Carpenter The MS Wilson may or may not be the Wilson in Pineville. I have proof that the Pineville Wilson was a carpenter. Pineville is located on the Red River across from the Parish Seat, Alexandria. There is supposed to be a J.J. Wilson in Obion Co., TN during the early part of the 1800s. Obion Co. is on the MS River. My Jason J. Wilson's middle name is "Jace", a very unusual surname. Most likely from a female ancestor's side. Do you know the meaning of the two initials J. J. of your Wilson.
