Ann: Why don't you share where you are on your WILSON and maybe we can collectively help you get past your brick wall? Bonita
Hi Bonita, My WILSON family came to Melbourne from Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland in 1841. I have been unable to trace any descendants of the eldest son Robert 1842-1892 although he had 10 children. His parents were Joseph WILSON and Elizabeth BRUNT who were married in Kilskeery, Co. Tyrone in 1841 just before coming out to Australia, but I have been unable to find their births or anything at all before 1841. I have four other WILSON families including one that has been in Sydney from at least 1843 and another that came from Lancashire.
