I emailed you a few weeks ago about my ancestor Rebecca Wilson that married Adam Farmer (died on the steamship, Sultana in 1865) in Blount Co. Your William K Farmer was a brother to my Adam's father, Joseph b 1803. While you are researching your Rebecca, please keep an eye out for mine as I am desperately looking for her parentage. My Rebecca was born around 1835 in TN. I will do the same for you. I am just emailing you again since I saw your latest posting about your computer failures in case you lost my name and email. Sue Stanfill
Hi Sue, While I did print your 1st email and it is around here somewhere, the prurpose of the posting at WILSON list WAS for You. Glad that you did respond again. When I installed my W98 2 ED about 3 years ago, I installed it as an upgrade(being sloppy) and because my computer is about 5 years old and slowing under the weight of LOTS of deleted stuff and programs which "Will not let go" when I try to rid myself of them , etc: I decided to erase the hard drive and re-install, but twice I got to a spot which called for a response for which, I was lost so I took it to a business man and he did it all for me including at my request a faster modem than my 28,800. Well, eventho the modem and the mother board were both Intel, the new modem was incompatible and then other problems which my ATT techie was able to guide me through. I have not yet opened the attachment as I have just got a Norton Anti Virus program and have not yet had a look to see if I can manage it. After 2 virus attacks I never open an attachment. Anyway back to Wm. & Joe brothers and sons of John 1757 FARMER, I have nothing on Joe, excepting the two lines which you must have seen. I have a tooth ache, awoke at 2:30, took a pain killer and deciced to send this email and at the moment, can hardly keep my eyes open. Yep, i'll "keep an eye out" for your Rebecca, Cousin, i'll stay in touch! Jim
