    2. David G. Miller
    3. Hey, you are not alone. I have direct line ancestors of Perry Wilson, and Richard Davidson/Davisson and have probably 50 Blackburns in my database and still have no lead my Wilson. Anyone have a clue about Perry Wilson who married Rachel Thomas, 1804 in Fayette Co., KY? Now you're all talking about the Davisson family. Hmmmmmmmmmmm. I have a Mary Davidson from Wheeling WV/Va b. 1799 that married in 1820 in Martinsburg Wva to William H. Wilson of Loudoun Co. Va. My Wilsons I believe were originally out of Chester Co. Pa. It amazes me with what ease some people speak of their Wilsons like everyone knows who you're talking about......lol. Trying to figure mine out is like trying to find a grain of rice in a oat silo. No, Joseph Friend, father of Elizabeth 1772-1826, who married John Franklin "Paddy" Wilson 1771-1849, was another Joseph Friend. This Joseph Friend (father of Elizabeth (Friend) Wilson) was born 1742 died 1806 in Bedford Co., PA; married Rachel Rose 1751-1832. She died in Ohio. After Joseph's death, she and her sons moved to the now Fairfield Co., OH. This Joseph Friend 1742, was the son of John Friend 1713-1778 of Friend's Cove, Bedford Co., PA I am still trying to find Elizabeth, daughter of Joseph (son of Jonas) who married Elizabeth Davisson. I show Elizabeth married John Wilson but you said, and evidence supports this, that the John Wilson she married was not the John Wilson, son of William Wilson, Sr. and Elizabeth Blackburn, although their son, William Jr., married Elizabeth Friend's sister, Sarah Friend. Still sorting through the tangled web.
