I just found on Find-A-Grave a listing for John Franklin Wilson 1771-1849. Born in Ireland, ³John came to America with his father, who was killed in his front yard, during the Rev. War.² John died in Greenland, Washington Co. Arkansas. Spouses were: Sarah Miller 1768-1795 and Elizabeth Friend 1772-1826 Children listed in John Franklin Wilson¹s will ­ Wm. Friend Wilson; John Wilson; James Wilson; Joseph Wilson; Thomas Wilson, Sarah Wilson; Eliza Wilson m. Moore; Mary Ann Wilson m. Newton. I am trying to determine if this Elizabeth Friend may have been the daughter of Jonas Friend and Sarah Skidmore of Virginia. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Patty-Friend-Thompson
