    3. Thank you for the reply Ed. No, Joseph Friend, father of Elizabeth 1772-1826, who married John Franklin "Paddy" Wilson 1771-1849, was another Joseph Friend. This Joseph Friend (father of Elizabeth (Friend) Wilson) was born 1742 died 1806 in Bedford Co., PA; married Rachel Rose 1751-1832. She died in Ohio. After Joseph's death, she and her sons moved to the now Fairfield Co., OH. This Joseph Friend 1742, was the son of John Friend 1713-1778 of Friend's Cove, Bedford Co., PA I am still trying to find Elizabeth, daughter of Joseph (son of Jonas) who married Elizabeth Davisson. I show Elizabeth married John Wilson but you said, and evidence supports this, that the John Wilson she married was not the John Wilson, son of William Wilson, Sr. and Elizabeth Blackburn, although their son, William Jr., married Elizabeth Friend's sister, Sarah Friend. Still sorting through the tangled web.
