Is anyone researching the WILSON families that lived in Knox and Saline Townships in Jefferson County, Ohio? I am particularly interested in Peter WILSON (b. 1800 PA) and his wife's family (Susannah PEGG, b. 1802 PA). Peter and Susannah Pegg Wilson had a number of children but I only know of the following: Lewis - b. 1822 OH, m1. Catherine MAPLE; m2. Margaret J. STEWART (widow of McCORKILL) Peter - b. 1825 OH, m. Lovina HOUSEHOLDER John - b. 1828 OH, m. Elizabeth HOUSEHOLDER Martha - b. 1834 OH, m. Alfred WOODS Edward - b. 1835 OH, m. Samantha CLINTON George - b. 1837 OH, m. Angeline GROVES Henry - b. 1840 OH, m. Sarah Ellen MYERS Susan - b. 1842 OH, m. Sylvester ROBB Alfred - b. 1842 OH, m. Anna COPE William - b. 1845 OH, m. Mary Louise SMITH I believe these Wilsons are related to several other Wilson families in the area, some of which came from Fayette County PA. Peter Wilson may also have been the son of an Edward Wilson and a brother to a William Wilson who married first Nancy PEGG and then Jane WINN (dau of Dawson WINN).
