By 1860, William's family was in DeKalb Co AL. Abraham ended up in Morgan Co AL for the 1870 census and there he married Sarah Jane NeSmith. Their only child was my grandfather, William Martin Wilson, born 1874 in Morgan Co AL. William Martin Wilson moved to Navarro county in central TX around 1899 and was a circuit riding Baptist preacher and farmer. William Martin never discussed his father who disappeared just before he was born in 1874 and none of the family ever knew anything about Abraham/Abram's parents or siblings. Trying to find some way to discover just where in South Carolina William and Sarah Wilson lived before coming to GA around 1843.
