    3. I would be interested to know where your Andersons are from. I am looking for Andersons from Northern Ireland, in particular, around the Ballyrashane area. As a matter of interest, my Wilson, Joseph Charles, who was christened in Beragh, Co. Tyrone, and apparently lived in Lisbellaw and Enniskillen, married an Anderson, Jean. They both came to Canada in 1927 and 1929, respectively. 3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Elmina WILSON of Harper, Iowa which was taken at the Taylor Studio in Ames, Iowa. The photograph was probably taken in the 1890's and Elmina appears to be in her late teens at the time the photo was taken. I'm hoping to find someone from her family so that this beautiful photograph can be returned to its rightful place with family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

    3. Looking for information about Alice M. Wilson b. about 1900. She married Edgar Earl Turner. She may have married an unknown Moore before she married Edgar. She was found on the 1920 Leflore County, Oklahoma Census with her parents John and Anna (Elston) Wilson. I saw a post from a Troy Williams (I believe) that is the grandson of Alice and would love to get in contact with him, if anyone knows him. I would love to hear from anyone who is related to Alice or her siblings. Thanks, Betsy --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Y! Web Hosting - Let the expert host your web site

I don't know that they were actually from Brooke Co. or if he was just born there while immigrating from elsewhere, since the panhandle area was along one of the early routes. 1. [WILSON-L] WILSON/WILLSON-RAINES/RAINS CONNECTIONS?
    2. Looking for any information on a Zebulon W. Wilson and Hugh Wilson, probably in TN in late 1700's thru 1800's?? Both of these men were supposedly married to a Sophronia E. Bracken; her parents were Eleanore Raines and John Bracken. Eleanore was born ca 1803 in Warren Co, TN; her father may have been a George Raines. I have a Napoleon Bonapart Rains who married Rachel Hampton in 1867, Lawrence Co, AL and also Malinda Rachel Nesmith (born 1855 in Morgan Co, AL) in 1878. Could Napoleon B. Rains be connected to the above Eleanore Raines? Thanks in advance for any information on any the above mentioned people. Paula

    3. Reference to your Wilsons in TN: I have a direct ancestor in the same census year i.e., (1860) in Pineville, Rapides Parish, LA by the name of Jason J. Wilson who is listed as follows - Jason, Wilson 33 yrs. b. MS Ursula " 31 yrs. b. LA Hippolyte " 9 yrs. b. LA Valsin " 6 yrs. b. LA Thoms H. (sic) " 2yrs. b. LA Bery (sic) " 1 yrs. b. LA I also have someone named Jason Wilson in the (1850) MS census, Coahoma Co., MS as follows - Ruth Kennedy 58 yrs. b. NC Thomas " 31 yrs. b. Ark. Farmer Jason Wilson 20 yrs. b. Tenn. Raftsman Travis G. williams 38 yrs.b. Virg. " James S. Neely 32 yrs b. Virg. Carpenter The MS Wilson may or may not be the Wilson in Pineville. I have proof that the Pineville Wilson was a carpenter. Pineville is located on the Red River across from the Parish Seat, Alexandria. There is supposed to be a J.J. Wilson in Obion Co., TN during the early part of the 1800s. Obion Co. is on the MS River. My Jason J. Wilson's middle name is "Jace", a very unusual surname. Most likely from a female ancestor's side. Do you know the meaning of the two initials J. J. of your Wilson. The possibility of any two Wilsons having the same first two initials should be low. Interesting? - Robert C.
