Not to long ago, I saw a posting on one of the USGENWEB boards, of a lady who started web site trying to match relatives with old photos she and others had found/bought at flea markets, antiques shops, etc. Does anyone remember the address???? Sure would be nice! I found/rescused maybe 100 photos from a friends antique shop which had bought at an estate sale here in northern California. I just hate to see these great old photos just tossed out!! I would love to return them at no cost to relatives wanting to claim them thru this web site. Let me know!!!! 1. [WILSON-L] Wilson/Thatcher family bible on Ebay!
    2. There's an item on Ebay identified as the "Wilson, Thatcher Family Bible". It's item # 1583071509. The description states "The bible belonged to Beulah Thatcher and was given to her by her grandmother in Philadelphia. The first entry is Beulah's marriage to Samuel Wilson on October 14th 1813.". This doesn't seem to be my Wilson line. A quick check of Ancestry suggests that the family may have been from either Delaware or Chester Co., PA. As of the time I'm sending this, the bid price is $10.49, and the auction will end about 8 PM PST on Tuesday. Wilson DeCamp

    2. I am in search of the parents of John Wilson who married Elizabeth Travers Chinn from Middleburg VA. Their children went on into Illinois (my line). There IS a connection to Travers, Tarpley, and Stretchley. Anyone know of this family please e-mail me at JRay38@neo.rr.com

    1. [WILSON-L] Wilsons of TN
    2. debh
    3. Have just updated some pages at http://www.halcyondays.com/wilson In order to attempt to figure out the various Wilsons/Willsons who were in Tennessee at any given time, have made a "Most Wanted" list where you can add the Wilson you're looking for. This is limited to Wilsons who have a connection to Tennessee at any time (my poor little server would not be able to handle ALL the Wilsons out there:). Also am putting the Census index information for Wilson into a database, index either by first name or by county, up to 1850 currently. The newest Wilsons of TN (paper) newsletter will be out sometime next week. An index to the articles is also on the website. This particular issue contains quite a few Goodspeed biographies that I found in the local library, as well as a list of Revolutionary War soldiers who are buried in TN.
