Wilson Baker was born about August 4th 1850 in Clayton County, Iowa, He was a month old on the Sept. 3,1850 Clayton County, Iowa Census, I found a Biography of John Baker in Cherokee County, Iowa, It was pretty good, except had some incorrect information. It had his birthday as October 4, 1850 and born in PA. He was on the above Iowa 1850 Census. with Mother CHRISTINA WILSON Sister's Angeline, Harriet, Mary A.,Emma "My guess? " The Bakers were related , maybe a sister to Christina, his mother? I've only found two siblings for Christina, and that's pretty unusual for the time, "My guess???" There were others Children in The FREY Family not mentioned or had died?? Kay, I'm trying to find information on the Father of This Wilson Family, My cousin had thought his name was WILLIAM? but we haven't been able to find that anywhere?, could be JOHN? sense that is the name given to the son?? or ???? If in your search your run across a ------ Wilson married to Christina Frey/Fry Wilson, About 1833/34 This Brick Wall feels pretty big, So appreciate any help or suggestions ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kay Wilson" <kaylww@attbi.com> To: <WILSON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, December 02, 2002 12:29 AM Subject: RE: [WILSON-L] Wilson in IA - BAKER connection > I stumbled upon this John Wilson with a BAKER connection while searching for > my own John Wilson. Hi, I found a Wm Wilson PA. Allegheny Co.census? PA. 1840 Allegheny County, Elizabeth Twp. Census, Roll M 704_440 page 316 Wm. Wilson 1 male 30-40 3 female's 5 and under 1 female 20-30 Anyone have information on this William Wilson??? Thanks Iris ----- Original Message ----- From: WilsonD212@aol.com To: r.polaski@att.net ; irislm@kc.rr.com Sent: Friday, November 29, 2002 2:22 PM Subject: Re: [WILSON-L] Wilson family, Perry Co., OH Dear Rick and Iris, I doubt that Rick's William is the one from my Wilson. My. John Wilson's will mentions only four children, Samuel, Sara, John and James, probably because they were the only ones of legal age in 1823, when the will was signed. Two other daughters were of legal age when the will was signed, but both were married, so that's probably why they weren't mentioned by name. However, my William sold the interest in the family farm that he inherited from his father. The deed was dated 1/19/1826, which sets 1/19/1825 as the latest possible date for his birth, because he would have had to be twenty-one to sell property. This doesn't preclude William (b. 1814) being a nephew to my John Wilson. Do you know where in PA he was born? My Wilson line came from Washington Co. Hi, He married when he was 19. As far as I know all of his children were born in Ohio, first child being born in 1834. So I guess I would ballpark it around 1833-1834. I would like to find out if this William had any siblings and who his parents were. William is our brick wall. Let me know what you think.
