    3. Ann, my Wilson's are from Virginia, at least my brick wall, John Wilson was buried in Loudoun Co. (Middleburg) His wife's family were all from that area ( CHINN's) I also had Wilson's associated with my Adams line from S.C. but again, do not know where they originated, other than Ireland and ended up in S.C. Another brick wall. 1. Re: Re: [WILSON-L] dna
    2. Thanks Donna: I have him John L. born 1819 and his son John William born 1845 and his son John Melton born 1874, and forward until 1930. I can't get any further back than John L Wilson and I'm trying to go forward past 1930 for a descendant of these folks. My immediate line from John Melton stopped with one son who drowned at age 10 and 4 sisters. A brother of J. M. Wilson his children didn't marry. Another son I have their names but can't find them, unless the one I found is in the army 1930 census A captain in the army. I'm trying every thing I can think of. I have a letter into some court houses and waiting on responses. I think the DNA project is great and even when I get a donor he may refuse to participate. I'm trying the project on other subjects of my lines and one has refused, the only one I could find for Bozeman. Government fear I think. 2. Well, I've decided to concentrate on getting my kids elected as President. It has to be easier. Since somebody does a pedigree of our Presidents lines, maybe they can find the father of John L. Wilson, who was born about 1819 in Lewis County, WV and married Barbara Ervin of Highland County, Va. They apparently have access to database files I don't have or know how to make people talk from the grave. Tonite even ancestry.com tried to sell me people search for people who live now, and it sounds great if you have a name of somebody that lives now. If I had a name, I could Possibly be apart of the DNA project. I have names at a fingertip and still 800 miles away in Lynon County, Kansas and Vernon County, Missouri. I hope I can be a part of the project even if it is 6 months away. Good luck ya'll. Still searching for John L. Wilson's parents. I have access to death certificates for the state of Alabama if the person died in Alabama between 1910-1959. I can look it up for you if you know the Correct name and death date. No charge!!! Pat Killian from Alabama

    3. No, her birth name was MALINDA WILSON. (I probably spelled it wrong.) She married David Alexander Welch, Jr. in 1828. I have found another sheet that says she was born in Rutherford Co.NC in 1810. Sorry! I wish we could have connected. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carol Lopez" <meanded.us@verizon.net> To: <WILSON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, April 30, 2003 5:37 PM Subject: Re: [WILSON-L] DNA Project: > I read your message-is the Melinda Wilson in the message the one married to > Witheral Anderson Wilson????? > carol > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Anne Haines" <annerhai@adelphia.net> > To: <WILSON-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Wednesday, April 30, 2003 1:53 PM > Subject: Re: [WILSON-L] DNA Project: > > > > Thanks.
