My wife Jeanne is the Wilman in our family, and is a decendent of Isaac Wilman 1794-1871. Isaac, and his wife Mary Norfolk, resided in Dewsbury, and had 2 sons Charles and John. John had 5 or 6 children, one of whom was Charles Norfolk Wilman 1845-1874. Charles left Dewsbury and moved to London. Charles Norfolk is my wifes Great Grandfather. If your husband has any ties to Dewsbury, I'm sure there must be a connection, and if you have any info prior to Isaac, I would surely appreciate it.
