My grandmother was Ella(Goldschmied)Scholz born in 1904 or 1905.She came to the US sometime around 1921.She married August Scholz and moved to Chicago where they owned a bakery.She had a sister Zenka(Goldschmied)Ceska who also lived in Chicago.I have some of my grandmothers pictures that have the names Jan Goldschmied and Vaclav Goldschmied on the back of them.I also have her address book with some living in Klatovy and Praha( cant really read the names on the addresses).I think my grandmother came from Hvozdnice but not sure.
