Gena, I say your post on the Willis board. I'm wondering if you've every some across Sarah. We know very little about her. Sarah was born about 1820 in NC. Her parents were G. W. Willis and Mary (LNU). I've been told that the G. W. probably stands for George Washington, but have no proof of this. I believe G. W. was a traveling Minister. Sarah married Lewis S. Meharg and they both died in Ohatchee, Calhoun County, AL. They were the parents of thirteen children. Do you have anything on her? Thanks for your help!
