    1. Re: John Willis, Immigrant
    2. Janet Johnson
    3. John is a popular name in my Willis family but I don't have any, that I know of, that match. I'll toss them out in the hope that you or someone else may make a connection. John Frederic Willis, born 1879 in East Howell Colliery, Ferryhill, Durham, England. Came to America in 1880 with family. Married Lola (?) and had two sons (Elwin Milo and Ivan). In 1910, he married Nelsia Eiersted (changed to Peterson) and had 12 children (Elmer, Thelma, Dorothy, Miriam, May, Nora, Martha, Charles, Donald, Roger, Robert, Myrna). Died 1950 in Aberdeen, Washington. John Willis (uncle to above John Frederic Willis). Born about 1846 in Easington, Durham, England. Could have came to America with his brother in 1880. John Willis (uncle to above John Willis). Born about 1840 in England. John Willis (father to above John Willis). Born about 1800 in England. Married Margaret Wilde in 1819 in Tynemouth, Northumberland, England. Had 7 children (James, Ann, Sarah, George, Robert, Martha, John). Died before 1851. I have other Johns but none of them were born about 1828. Anyone with connections?
