    1. [WILLIS] Help?
    2. I need someone to retype these two books...my plan is to republish both of them this year. The two most accurate books on Louisiana Baptist are John Pinckney Durham and John S. Ramond's "Baptist Builders in Louisiana" (Shreveport, Louisiana, Durham-Ramond, 1934) and Ivan M. Wise's "Footsteps of the Flock; Or Origins of Louisiana Baptists" (Crowley, Louisiana, L. Nussbaum, 1910). Dr. Ivan M. Wise (B.A., M.A., LL.D.) wrote the second most accurate account of Joseph Willis of all the early writers, although he has at least one mistake about Joseph-he states Joseph's place of birth as South Carolina-it was North Carolina. Wise was the ex-President of the Louisiana Baptist Society. He was born in 1854 (the year Joseph Willis died) and died in 1812, only two years after his book was published. John Pinckney Durham and John S. Ramond's wrote of Wise in "Baptist Builders in Louisiana" (Shreveport, Louisiana, Durham-Ramond, 1934, p. 49) that "He was a historian. He traveled and collected data for Paxton's "History of the Baptist of Louisiana," [1888 ]. "Later, he was the author of Footsteps of the Flock. He had written and published one volume of this Louisiana Baptist history, and was making rapid progress towards others when the work fell from dying grasp." He died on May 22, 1912. John Pinckney Durham and John S. Ramond's wrote the most accurate account of Joseph Willis. See the attached photo.
