Do not have any more information. Ed Willis, Nathaniel (1770-1846).[1] Willis, Nathaniel (1770-1846) HOUSE, 11th and 12th General Assemblies, 1815-19; representing Maury County. Born in Brunswick County, Virginia, April 15, 1770; son of Francis and Elizabeth (Edwards) Willis. Only a few facts are known about this legislator. His father, an officer in the American Revolution, moved to Wilkes County, Georgia, 1784; was a member of Congress from Georgia, 1791-93, moved to Maury County at undetermined date after term in Congress, and died in Maury County January 25, 1829. Not known whether Nathaniel came to Maury County with father or at another time. Nathaniel's wife, Ann, died in 1834; a son, Francis H., died at same year; other children, Henry and Elizabeth Willis. Was not a member of any church but contributed to Zion Presbyterian Church, Maury County. One source places his death on January 6, 1846, another on August 9, 1846; buried in Zion churchyard.
