My GGrandfather, John Robert Willis, was born January 11, 1850, Indiana. I know of two brothers, Dick and George. His parentage is unknown to me. He married Catherine Holmes about 1876, Dent County, Missouri. John Robert died June 13, 1940, Shannon County, Missouri. Catherine Holmes Willis died January 14, 1942, Shannon County, Missouri. The surnames of Morgan, Wilson and Bedwell are connected with this Willis family. If anyone has any information which may connect me to his parentage, please email me.
