My Willis line is this: William Willis was born abt. 1795 in VA, and died in Wilson County, TN in 1841. He married Lucy Mitchell Dabbs March 13, 1817 in Charlotte County, VA. She was the daughter of Richard Dabbs and Elizabeth Mitchell. Child of William Willis and Elizabeth Dabbs was: Lucy A. Willis, b. 1834 in TN and d. 1898. She married William R. Lea December 25, 1851 in Davidson County, TN. William R. Lea in 1886. Child of Lucy A. Willis and William R. Lea was: William Willis Lea b. 1855, TN. d.1919. He married Ida May Petro in 1878. She was born in IN in 1858 and died in TN in 1935. Child of William Willis Lea and Ida May Petro was: Edna Talbot Lea, b. 1879 in TN . She married Andy Hamilton Griffin. They are my grandparents.
