Hi Carl & all WILLIS researchers, My Ggrandfather, John Robert Willis was born about 1851 in Indiana. His father was born in Indiana and mother in Missouri. I believe he was married about 1876, possibly in Dent County MO. He married Catherine "Kate" Holmes. They had 13 children, with only 5 living to adulthood. Two of his siblings were possibly George and Dick (Richard) Willis. John Robert died June 13 1940 in Shannon County MO. The surnames of Bedwell and Morgan are supposed to be in this Willis family. Would you, or any of you other "Willis searchers" have any infomation that might connect me to his parentage? Thank you for your help.
