I have Joseph F. Willis born in approx. 1871, died March 1950 Bellingham, Washington, married Lillian L. ???, 1892. They had two children, Robey John Willis, b. 7 May 1894, Newark, MO., died 15 February, 1963, Seattle, Washington, m. Florence Winifred KEMP, 29 December 1917. They had two boys, Jack Lewis WILLIS and Robert WILLIS, both born in Bellingham, Washington. The WILLIS family is not in the 1900 census for Whatcom County, Washington, but they are in the 1910 census, so I am assuming that they were still in MO. until sometime between those dates. Joseph was a contractor and lived on a small farm in Bellingham so he may have been a contractor and/or a farmer in MO. I have also heard that Robey was born in La Belle MO.
