Thought this might be of interest to a Willis researcher as it's on the marriage certificate of my grandmother's first marriage. She married GEORGE WILLIAM WILLIS, age 26, from Portage, Wisconsin, in 1897 in Vancouver, B.C. (so he was born around 1871 in Portage). He was a Mining Broker and was a son of G.W. WILLIS and ALICE TERESA NOLAN and his religion is listed as Catholic. They were married for fewer than 7 years.
