Sharon, My Willis line came from Carroll Co. Ky. Since yours went to Ky, I thought maybe we could be from the same line, or maybe you could find some info on my line. My grandfather was William Willis b. about 1872/73. His father was also named William Willis. His siblings were, Nannie (Willis) Carter, Humphrey Willis, Minnie (Willis) Brown, & another sister (don't know first name) was on obituary as Mrs. Albert Collins. His father William was supposed to have a half-sister, Tisha Barton. The younger Wiilliam Willis married my grandmother, Minnie (Wheeler) Willis, also from Carroll Co. Ky. I haven't been able to find anything else about my grandfather William or his father William. I don't even know who my grandfather's mother was. The info I have I got from the elder William's obituary. Any info you could give me would be greatly appreciated. We may even be kin, of course I don't know what part of Ky your line moved to.
