    3. Would really like to see some DNA testing on a male descendant of John M. Williams. My ancestor, John Williams b. ca 1775 in Duplin County, NC- d. 1837 in Jackson Co. FL had at least two sons , Ira Shine Williams, b. ca 1813 in Bulloch Co. GA, and David Williams, b. ca 1819 in AL, who moved to Smith County, Texas from Jackson Co, FL. David moved in 1854 and Shine(s) moved in 1857-8. I don't have a complete list of John's sons. Other known ones were Andrew Elton, Frederick R. and probably William. Evidence indicates that there was a son named John, but nothing else is known. John Williams was a son of Frederick and Arribecah Goff Williams and Frederick was the son of David Williams who was a son of Garrett Williams who died in Isle of Wight ( now Southampton) Co VA in 1735 ----- Original Message ----- From: <wwwuser@yourhostingaccount.com> To: <williams-dna@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, October 15, 2006 8:43 PM Subject: [WILLIAMS-DNA] New Topic Posted in the Williams Genealogy Forums! > The following new message has been added to the Williams Genealogy board under the new topic of John M.
