One concern regarding email lists though, Adrian... You may want to consider ways to prevent spammers from getting this information. They use some sophisticated techniques to gather email addresses from anywhere on the internet. Some websites disguise email addresses as graphic files, rather than ASCI. Apparently this prevents spyware and other tools from automatically gathering email addresses. For an example of this, go to Rootsweb, select any surname forum, click on a message submitter's name, and look at their email address. I hope that's helpful :)
