    1. Latest Updates to the DNA Project Results
    2. Adrian Williams
    3. Y'all, Yep, it's that time again...more updates to our project! We continue to grow at an amazing pace...we are now up to 326 participants and still holding at 51 matched groups. I have just uploaded the following results!! Group 5 - The panel 2 numbers are in for Wayland. Group 18 - The haplogroups for the 3 Williams fellas are now updated to show the latest information...they are now indicated as R1b1c. Group 20 - The panel 3 numbers are in for Daniel, confirming his match with Lawrence and Frank. Group 26 - Has a new member! Brian's full 37-marker results set came in showing him a very strong match to the group. Group 29 - I don't know what happened with this group but it saw an explosion of new members this time around...3 of them!! Robert C., Robert L., and Ernest. There is a bit of trickery involved here, though. It has become quite difficult to figure out the true relationships among these mismatches. The results are very close but run a broader range than I usually group out. I'd really like to see both 25-marker upgrades done and I'd really like to see if there is any confirmed documented link between any of these guys. Also, the panel 3 numbers are in for James. Group 31 - The panel 3 numbers are in for Richard. Group 51 - Has a new member! Gareth transferred his NGS numbers over and he is an exact match with Harvey, who has a fair match with the rest of the group. Again, upgrades are strongly recommended here. No Match - There are a number of updates to the no-match group. First, Guy has a large number of near-matches with a large number of participants. I have placed him here for the time being as I won't be able to make a conclusive decision until he upgrades to the 25-marker test. Upgrade results are in for David, Lee and Stanley. And, welcome new members James, Michael and Clovis. A bit of housekeeping news....first, there are a growing number of dead email addresses in the database for participants. If you have changed your email address, please be sure to update it in the FTDNA database as well as shooting me a message so I can update my notes. Currently, there are 18 dead email addys that need updating! I will post a list in another mailing with those kits that I need new information for. Also, more folks are using the pedigree module but we still have a long way to go to get everyone's information updated. Since the testing is essentially worthless without genealogies, please consider uploading your information to the module. Kind regards, Adrian Adrian Williams Williams DNA Project Administrator http://williams.genealogy.fm/ stickamw@earthlink.net
