Y'all, There are changes abound for this mailing list. Rootsweb is upgrading the software for all their mailing lists and it will have the following effects: 1.) The "-L" is being dropped from the official list name, but you will be able to both sub and post using the "old" name,with the -L, or the new one without it. If you use email headers to filter list mail in your email program, your filters may need adjusting. 2.) Digest subscribers will notice a small difference in the layout, volume and issue numbers of the list digests. New instructions will be added to the digests -- please read them. If your digests arrive in a different format than you are used to and you would like it changed, contact me. 3.) If you are subscribed to the list in both L and D modes using the same email address, you will find that you will no longer be subbed to the Digest after the move. The new software doesn't permit the same address to be subbed in both L and D modes. If you want to continue to be subbed to both the list posts and the digest, you will need to use two different email addresses. The list is scheduled to move today, but I haven't seen my notification from Rootsweb yet. If anyone notices any problems, please don't hesitate to let me know!!
