I just posted my Patrick Williams line, Kit # 84000, on the Williams DNA site. My Williams line was in Mecklenburg Co., NC, 1768-1800; then Union Co., SC, 1800-1820; then Trigg Co., KY, Jackson Co., AL, 1820-1840, then on to Wayne Co., MO by 1848 at Danielsville, MO. They were in Oregon Co., MO in 1860 and on to Barry Co., MO by 1880. One g-g-g-grandfather, John (Major) Williams moved to IL by 1836 (Sangamon Co., IL) and on over to Hancock Co. IL by 1851-1867. They lived at Majorsville, IL until he died in 1867. They are buried in the Majorsville Methodist Church Cem.
