    2. Tina/Bill Swyers
    3. My first proven Williams ancestor starts with Daniel Williams b. bef. 1747 in Maryland or Frederick Co., VA. and died after 1823 in Newberry County, South Carolina. He married Cassandra Prather. We are currently researching Joseph Williams and wife Lydia as the parents of Daniel, but this has not been proven. Joseph and Lydia Williams, Providence and wife Sarah, and Ann Williams Poulson/Paulson were siblings and in Frederick County, Maryland in 1733 before going to Orange Co./later Frederick Co., Virginia. There is a possibility that our Daniel was married first to a Frances Griffin. The following were children of Daniel and Cassandra. Josiah Williams b. abt. 1764 probably in VA. and died April 9, 1865 in Hickman Co., Kentucky Josiah married his first cousin, Abigail Williams, daughter of Providence Williams and Elizabeth Gary first. His married second, my ancestor, Mary L. Polly Tweedle on Feb. 14, 1823 in Posey County, Indiana. Josiah and Mary L. Polly Tweedle are my descendants. Joseph Williams probably born in VA. Abigail Abrailla Williams born 1766 prob. in VA died 1859 in Graves Co., VA. Abigail Abrailla married Williams Cannon bef. 1790. John Williams b. abt. 1770 in Virginia and died 1830 in Gibson Co., Indiana. He married Sarah Colvin. Frances Williams b. abt. 1766 in Newberry Co., South Carolina and died in Newberry Co., SC. Fanne Williams b. 1792 in Newberry Co., SC and died in Indiana. Married Meeks Neal. Druscilla Williams who married John Martin Rev. War Hero. Daughter Williams also married to Thomas Martin. Daniel Williams Isaac Williams Josiah and Abigail's children are: John b. abt 1802; Sarah b. 1804 and died 1861 in Independence Co., Arkansas. Married Josiah Williams in 1823 in SC or Georgia. Josiah and Mary L. Polly Tweedle Williams' children were: Isaac (Ike) Williams b. about 1827 and died 1861. He married Sarah Jane Norman Williams. They had a plantation in Graves County, Kentucky when Isaac (Ike) Williams was shot and killed.
