Kay: Based upon the information at the link provided by my son, I downloaded Adobe Reader 8. The developers insist that the flaw is not inherent in the new version, so I decided to trust them. I don't often click on links for PDF files, so I haven't tried it yet. This seems to me to be a judgment call. If you trust them, use it; if not, don't use anything until you feel sure that there is no risk.
