Hello, This is the first time for me to submit a request on this line. I really do need a lot of help. My Great grandmother's name was Lydia Williams.b.Feb. 8.1866 in Illinois. She married James Dixon Aug. 21, 1888. She d. DEC 5, 1913 in Saline co., Ill. Her mother, Sylvania Charlotta Williams b. Feb 19,1836 in Tenn. D. 1866 passed on giving birth to Lydia and Lydia's John F. Williams, b. Sept 2,1836 D. 1866 father passed on 6 months later. Sylvania C. Williams and John F. Williams married march 30,1858 per the Pope Co., Marriage license. I don't know who raised Lydia the family was told that she was passed from one family to another until she married. I have located them in the 1850 Saline Co. Ill. Census. That is where I hit a road block. Where they came from or who their parents were is a mystery. Would appreciate any assistance. Thank you Sue
