A very good source of info about this side of the family is a book called "The Un-Redeemed Captive" written by Yale prof John Demos. It tells the story of Eunice Williams capture and forced march to Montreal from Deerfield Massachusets and her subsequent life among the French and Mohawk, the times she lived in and her birth family history. Fascinating. I don't think it is out of print but if you can't find it I saw some copies at the Fort Ticonderoga gift shop. If anyone is researching this side I have info for you. Please email me.
