I am seeking information on James Williams. James patented land in township 16 of Coles/Douglas County in 1874. I realize that this is a common name but I hope someone recognizes the area. My purpose for this inquiry is because I am writing an article for our upcoming centennial and I am concentrating on the original pioneers of this area. This is all I have on this individual.
