Hi list, just to add some more comment to our griping sessions,,,this may help some one...be careful about buying CD's from Ancestry...I bought the OR death records CD thinking it had complete death records,...it was just an index like you can find on line. It did have a spouse every once in awhile, but no other info, just name date and cert. #. They advertised a money back guarantee...no such luck...they said once I opened it they could not tke it back.! BUT! how else do you know it does not contain the info you sere looking for? So be careful, I guess the best way to find out is to call them. I bought the CD because I had found several names on graves when I went to OR. this summer.I had to pay $35.oo for my grt grd mother's death cert., (which was not on the CD). It does not same just an index, it says records! I thought I was being smart and buying the CD to get the same info and save money. I had stopped buying CD's from FTM because they never seemed to have ALL the info and another CD was always needed. So I decided to do it the hard way and I think the cheapest!
