    3. I have been working on the Williams genealogy and am getting no-where fast. That scoundrel, George Pinkney Williams, my great-grandfather on mom's dad's side is driving me crazy. He was born March 12, 1882, and he married Maggie Bradshaw, born August 22, 1887, on August 22, 1900. She was 13-14 years old and he was eighteen. She had my grandfather, Leon, and Aunt Rena Hatcher's husband, Malcolm Williams, + more. I have a copy of his muster in the Spanish American War which lists his name as Pink W. Williams. I don't know where the George comes in, but can find nothing about his parents. I have made a good guess to whom he might belong to, but don't have proof. He was supposed to have been an orphan and he and his brother came to MS. His brother was supposed to have moved on, but I don't have a name for him. Someone in the family told me it could have been Travis. Maggie was from Yazoo County, MS, born in Mechanicsburg. Her people were prominent there. Her dad died a month after she got married. The other 4 girls in her family didn't marry until they were of age, except one who died in the old Insane Asylum in Jackson, MS. She was Bi-polar. Any guesses where I could look? Thank you for any info. Margie Scogin
