Carl - Yes, attachments ARE blocked by Rootsweb on the list. But e-mail sent to individual email addresses on the list are NOT under the control of Rootsweb....thus, the listers receiving email especially with "WILLIAMS" in the subject line - AND (more importantly)- WITH AN ATTACHMENT - are well advised to NEVER open those attachments. I have received a few myself over the last 2 weeks and apparently a lot of folks on the list have also. Listers - PLEASE be careful.
