    3. This is a book that is on auction at E-Bay under: Genealogy Williams. Posting it only because it list some names that connect, and a bit of information of this "Williams". Drummond, Josiah H. Samuel Williams, of Grafton, N.H. Fifth in Descent from Richard Williams, of Taunton (Mass). Portland (MA): Smith & Sale; Printers, 1899. First edition. Octavo, 20 pages. Richard Williams, born in 1606, was the first to arrive in America. He located in Taunton, Mass and became one of the town's earliest settlers and became so prominent that he was known as the "Father of the Town." He married Frances Dighton with whom he had a large family, whose descendants branched out from mostly Taunton and Grafton, New Hampshire. Some of the early allied Thompson families include: Walker; Hoyt; Hale; Barney; Whitford; Little; Finnimore; Bucklin; Riddle; Rogers; Tinkham; Wilson; Tucker; West; Case; Storer; Crane; Leach; Alden; Howard; Gile; Hathaway; Randlett; Tenney; Stevens; Caswell; Macey; Shaw; Bullock; Martin; Smith; Currier; Miller; Sanborn; Heath; Dodge; Rhodes; Storey; O'Brien; Tenney; and Dunlap.
