He married about 1758 FRANCES [surname unknown]; she was born about 1735 and her will was recorded in 1806 Charlotte County, Virginia. My records indicate they were parents of nine children: 1. Nancy Williams, born before 1803, married COLLINS 2. Sally Williams, married Collier Hutcheson 17 Sep 1804, Charlotte Co VA 3. Robert W. Williams, born about 1753. Married Anne Watson 1 Apr 1771 Charlotte Co 4. Mastin Williams [sometimes seen in error as "Martin"] -- born about 1767 in Charlotte, .....Hanover, or Halifax VA.; died 1850 Allen County, KY. + 3 times. I descend from .....Mastin and his first wife, Amy Collins, whom he + 12 Dec 1793, through their son, .....Henry Williams and his wife, Nancy Redmond. 2nd wife was Susanna Woodall m. .....20 Feb 1815, Halifax Co VA. 3d wife was Helen C. Potter 27 Feb 1843, KY. 5. Molly Williams b. about 1768, Charlotte Co VA. +Godfrey Shelton 2 Feb 1788, Charlotte Co 6. Matthew J. Williams, b. abt 1773; d. abt 1825 Charlotte; + about 1793 to Dorothy. 7. Elizabeth, born about 1774. + William Tompkins Collier, 3 Mar 1794, Charlotte Co VA 8.
