Information just obtained from the death certificate of one of his sons tells us that James W. WILLIAMS was born in Augusta, GA in 1824. I thought that the names of his children might help someone connect, someone who could tell me who his parents were. His children were: George Lovell Williams, b 11 Jan 1871 in LA Richard H. Williams, b 1873 LA Ada L. Williams, b 1876 LA Madison Williams, b 15 Jan 1878 LA Peter James Williams, b 3 Sept 1880 LA Joanna Frances Williams, b 29 Jan 1882 LA Stafford F.
