Don't know how much help this will be, if any, but my ggg grandfather was Ephraim Claybourn/Claibourn from Knoxville/Knox Co. Tn. m 1809 Knox Co. Mary "Polly" Browning, sold his land and moved to Wilson Co. Tn. where his daughter Leticia, married Jesse Williams, Jesse had a brother named William Divine Williams, I havn't found the "Divine" connection yet, but am sure there is one. There are a lot of Williams in the area also, Jesse's parents were David Williams and Elizabeth VanHooser, poss both born in Va., I can find no parents or siblings for David, who died ca. 1840 prob. Wilson or Dekalb Co. Tn. his children moved to Mo. and Ark. in late 1850's. would like to hear from other Wilson/Dekalb Co. Tn. Williams families and maybe sort out the Williams, if possible--Thanks Evelyn
